About the project: what BMW TIS and WDS are
BMWTeka is an online service for original BMW repair and maintenance instructions — what mechanics and owners commonly call BMW TIS and WDS. It offers convenient navigation through the vehicle’s assemblies, documents with graphics, wiring diagrams, and full-text search.
Free and non-commercial
The project is not commercial: there are no subscriptions, one-off purchases, paid access or advertising. Registration is free for everyone.
Why sign-in is required
All content opens after a free sign-in. Sign-in is not a paywall but a way to control access and protect the materials from mass automated copying. Public pages (including this one) are open without signing in.
News and community
Project news lives in our Telegram channel @bmwteka: what has been added, which body series are open, and when the offline version arrives. The channel also links to a private BMW chat.

What is BMW TIS?
TIS (Technical Information System) is BMW’s factory technical documentation: step-by-step repair and maintenance procedures, tightening torques, fluid specifications and the graphics that go with each operation. On BMWTeka these documents open from the vehicle’s assembly tree.
What is BMW WDS and how does it differ from TIS?
WDS (Wiring Diagram System) is BMW’s factory electrical documentation: circuit diagrams, connectors and pinouts, component locations and data buses. TIS answers “how to take it apart and put it back together”, WDS answers “how it is wired”. BMWTeka carries both, for the same body series.
Is it free?
Yes. The project is non-commercial: there are no subscriptions, one-off purchases, paid access or advertising. Registration is free for everyone.

Body series are added gradually — from the E-series to the current G-series. To check whether a document is there, use the search by title: it covers every loaded body series at once and works without signing in.
